Expunging Medical Records

Hello all,

I have a brief question that I hope you can answer for me. I am considering joining the US Air Force but I have something on my medical record (drug overdose) that I think will hinder my acceptance. Let me make one thing clear: I am not a drug user, I am not addicted to any sort of narcotics. One time mistake...the ruling was accidental, I was not charged with any crime. My sister said I should look into having my medical record expunged. Does anyone know what steps I need to take to look into getting this done?

There is no such thing as removing your medical record. You have the option to get a copy of your record to see what it says exactly, it may just say accidental OD.

You also have the option of not giving that info out. Did you go to a hospital? They arent' likely to find the record unless you give them the info to find it, if you get my drift.
