Workmans for depression - mental problems caused by employer

I have been with this mortgage company for abut 8months. Recently I have been under a lot of stress at work which has cause me to have time off from work due to depression and mental health problems due to the hostile enviroment at work. i AM CURRENTLY STAYING HOME FOR A WEEK UNTIL RE-EVALUATED Can I collect workmans comp until released from my doctor? what kind of law can protect me in Florida?
