Default Illegal Car Repossession
Hi my name is Hollie and my car was reposessed last night I think illegally. I would like to know if the finacial provider has to issue a written notice?

Default Notice of Car Repossession
The law varies by state. Generally speaking, though, you are on notice by contract that your car can be repossessed if you don't make your payments.
