My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Tennesse
I just found out my landlord is 2 months behind on the mortgage payment to the house I am renting. I have been in the house for 15 months and just signed a new 12 month lease last month. I have never--never--never been late for any rent payment.
I have all canceled checks and the new lease that I have signed.
Can I sue her for fraud if she does not pay mortage and I just signed a new lease?
What do I do?
