    Default Workman's Comp TTD

My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Kentucky

I have been on W/C since my injury 4/6/08. I had surgery in July. W/C sent me to their Dr. for an opinion in October. He stated I was fully recovered and no more P/T was needed and I should go back to work without restrictions. He examined me for less than 5 minutes. He even noted in his report that I could not squat down no more than 50% due to knee pain.
My Dr./surgeon strongly disagreed and sent a report to W/C. After three weeks W/C stopped paying me. I had another MRI in Nov. and I have to have another surgery for the same injury. Is W/C required to resume my TTD and backpay?

Your worker's compensation carrier has apparently cut off your benefits based upon the opinion of its doctor. You haven't told us whether or not they've agreed to pay for the new surgery - have they? It may be time to consult a worker's compensation lawyer.
