    Default Ritualistic Murder

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Maine
OK, now this is entirely hypothetical. (Honest! It really is!) I have never actually attempted such a thing.

But lets just say I performed some ancient magic ritual intended to summon up otherworldly forces to kill a person. If that person just happened to die, could I be prosecuted for that person's murder, or would the lack of proof in magic keep me safe?

Let's hypothetically say I just answered you using telepathy. XD
