    Default Collection Proceedings in California

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: CA

I'm going to make this short. I borrowed a private loan it was 15k then it raise up to 22k along with that..they sold it to a collection agency called NCO financial. Yes, they call and harass my family and i everyday.

I was wondering if there's any ways to ask them to deduct it down to 15k so i can pay it in full? I cant afford 7k for 3 months. That's what they are asking for. My parents cant pay 22k nor 7k a month. They make only like 800/month or so. Can barely support 5 people in the family.

You can ask if they will reduce the debt to $15,000 but, of course, they don't have to.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
