Moving Out of Parents House

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: MI
I am 17 currently and I want to move out of my moms house when I turn 18.
I want to move in with my dad, but according to him the court said that I cannot move out of my moms house until i am finished with high school in 2010, is there anything that can prevent me from moving out of my mom's house when I turn 18? or do i really have to wait until i finish my senior year of high school?

Ask him to see the court papers outlining this. In the US, 18 is the legal age of majority. You get to decide for yourself where you live.

I've never heard of an adult being forced to stay where she does not wish to based on her parents' divorce decree. I'm certain someone will come along and correct me if I am mistaken.
