Default Embezzlement Charge for Stealing from an Employer
My son recently stole $15000 from his company that he worked for. I paid the company $15000 this week hoping it will go away. A crime has obviously been committed. My question is, what kind of problems could my son be dealing with if the company decides to press charges even though the money has been paid back?

Default Embezzlement
At that level, it would probably be a felony charge. The outcome would depend in large part upon the nature and extent of his prior criminal record.
