Default California Statute of Limitations for Paternity

is there a statue of limitations in california for dna testing in
california for parentage. my nephew says he has been ordered to
pay child support for a child that he says is not his. he has been
told by an attorney that the statue of limitations won't allow him
to ask for a dna test.

    Default Statute of Limitations

It sounds like he either signed an affidavit of parentage and didn't dispute paternity in time, or he defaulted when served with a paternity lawsuit and didn't attempt to challenge the default judgment in time.
