Change of status J-2

Hello, I was wondering if I could ask sombody for some confidential advice.
I've been living in USA for last 2 years. And I came here with dependent visa J2 . My husband has J1. We are subject to 2 years home residancy requirement.
I'm wondering if it is possible to change my visa status and be independent from my husband?
I 'm also wondering what will happend when I will apply for divorce?
I will be very appraciated when someone could give me some help . I tried to talk to so many lawyers and I didn't egt any answer.

Thanks for advise , but I,ve contacted with soem of them and everything what I found out was how much money this consultation costed me.
Aaron maybe I shoudn't use word "confidential". But it was just word and in my mind I need any advise, any help from sombody who maybe was in same situation.
