    Default Neighbor Harrassment

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Kansas

I bought a house about a year ago. Over that time, I have had several run-ins with my neighbor over little things. Lately however, things have gotten worse and he has made several verbal threats. I want to take action to protect myself and my property but it seems like his word against mine over what exactly was said. At what point should I contact a lawyer?

Harassment and threats fall under "crimes" - the realm of police. They should be your next call.

A civil attorney won't be of much use unless you've got some sort of demonstrable damages to sue for.
