Running a Stop Sign

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Texas

A cop pulled over and said that I didnt stopped at the previous stop sign so i told him that i didnt saw any stop sign, he told me "thats the reason I stopped you". He wrote me a ticket and then to know where i missed stop sign I went back and realized that he was talking about a three way flashing red signal where I had stopped. I dont know how to prove that I had stopped and if he do have any proof showing I didnot stop. He was along with another cop in his car. I did stopped at the light and after driving about half a mile i saw cop car from nowhere giving llight to me. I dont know from where he came and why he gave me ticket even though i had stopped at that place completely. Infact I stopped for more time as there was a car coming from the left side so waiting for the car to stop so that i can take left turn.

Inquire with the police department as to whether officers have video in their cars and, if so and assuming the camera was on, try to get video from the officer's vehicle that will establish that you didn't run the stop light.
