I was employed at the same employer for a year and a half. I turned in a two week resignation because my daughters and I are from another state and there was anyone I could depend on to watch them while I went to work. Their mother relocated and left them with me to care for. I filed an unemployment claim here in Georgia. They sent me a letter saying I was denied because my reason for leaving the job was personal and not job related. My question is: What are my rights to unemployment due to not being able to get daycare assistance at a short notice. The daycare process here is a three month waiting period. I want to know what can I do with the appeal process to change their minds and grant me my unemployment benefits? I do not know anyone in this state and trusting someone with my three daughters is another issue. I would deeply apprieciate any help to get started in the right path. Thanks
