First Offense Possession of .5 Grams Hash Oil and < 2 Grams Marijuana

My question involves criminal law for the state of: California (I am 18)

So about a month ago i was pulled over for a fog light on my car being out, my car reeked of pot so of course the searching began due to probable cause. After they found the marijuana and hash i proceeded to show my medical marijuana recommendation. The officer said this doesnt matter ect arrested me and hauled me to OC jail where i spent the night and was released the next day without having to pay bail. After that i went and saw my private attorney and he is fighting tooth and nail for the charges to be lowered from a felony. I am just wondering what i should be ready to face as punishment i.e. probation, community service, drug classes, or a mix. (this is my first offense ever)

went to court today to have my attorney tell me that the case hasnt been reviewed yet and is posponed till futher notice. I am also wondering what is the typical wait time after it is posponed the first time as I am eager to have a life again

So from all that mumble jumble I am wondering what will most likely be my punishment and how long should i plane on waiting till my next court date
