Default Being Sued by Citibank Credit Card
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: California.

I owe citibank almost $9000.00, and have disputed the collections claim with their appointed collection agency / law firm and received no written reply or copies of their findings. Instead I received a summons and am now being sued for the debt. What are my options and what is the worse case scenario outcome if a judgment is rendered against me . I own a small coffee shop, lease the building and have very few assets, which include a truck with several years left to pay down and a small manufactured home, still unpaid. Thank you.

Default Re: Being Sued by Citibank Credit Card
If they get a judgment against you it will go on your credit, and they will try to collect the money you owe. They can collect against any non-exempt assets, including your business assets and accounts.
