Default Female Was Legally Married at Time of Conception

My question involves paternity law for the State of: Florida

My question is about how the state of Florida will treat me, the potential father, in a request for paternity if the mother was legally married at the time of conception. I want to get paternity for peace of mind and to be a part of the child's life.

I was heading to the Florida Dept. of Revenue to request paternity test and wanted to know if this was the best/only way of beginning the process.

Yes, this is definately the best thing to do. The laws regarding paternity are in chapters 409 and 742 of the Florida Statutes. You can read them at www.flsenate.gov/STATUTES
