    Default Reentry after Deportation

My father was deported over one year ago for a crime of moral turpitude involving a minor. (He went to trial, was found guilty and served less than one year in Jail) His paper work indicates that he is excluded indefinately from the U.S. He is not interested in returning to live in the U.S., but would like to come visit me and his grandson. Is there anything I can do? Can I apply for any sort of waiver so that he may be granted a visitors visa?

    Thank You.

    Default Hardship Waiver

Given that charge and the timeframe, I don't think much of his chances. He can try to get a hardship waiver, or some other waiver to permit entry. He should consider working with an immigration lawyer, to improve his odds.
