I have actually spoken to transunion canada, and they told me that the only way my credit history can transfer from the US is if I show a creditor in Canada my US credit report. Otherwise they can't look it up.
It makes sense because the the credit agencies track your report by your social security number in the US and in Canada they track by social insurance number.

They do track you by postal records, drivers license and even passport records. Your social security number is not required to link you to another counrty. I deal with these types of records every day at work. And you do not need to be looked up, your records do move and follow with you.
I can track someone from the USA to Canada 8 differient ways. Many banks have access to much of the same info I do. Not all, but most.
If you know more then the banks do then why come on here and ask? Just because you may have an answer that is not what you want to hear, it is still accurate. In my line of work, I track people from the USA to other countries every day as I said, it is not very difficult.
