Hi there, Could someone explain in layman terms the ohio's presumed fathers thing I see posted a few places. I am a married man of 16 years the wife and I had a rocky way a few years back and we both had brief affairs. she became pregnant I have never wanted to know what dna test have to say about our daughter I have been raising her and I love her and she loves me we are a very happy family. recently the man my wife had an affair with saw us out and he has now threatened to take us to court to prove or disprove he is the father, I am afraid that if he is the father and the court allows this that it will destroy my little daughter and confuse her I would love her no matter what and I tell my wife this but we are very worried that it would effect our wonderful happy little firl and confuse her. I am her daddy and no DNA test can take that from me but with this man telling her he is her father and Im noone well I would want to tell her he is a sprem donor but I love her to much to say those things I just wanted to know if someone could break it down for me to help me understand what it means I know as of now I am her presumed father in the laws eyes but does that mean that they wont let this stranger try to come into her life or no? Also is it true that if we were to move from ohio to michigan that he wouldnt even be able to file anything
