I am applying for EIN and I'd like to do this online; the form is available here https://sa.www4.irs.gov/sa_vign/newFormSS4.do . Since I do this for the first time, I am a bit confused about this. I am hoping that someone in this forum can answer these questions and help me out (I'm assuming that number of members have their own companies).
Q1. 3 asks 'Executor, trustee, "care of" name'. Since I am the owner, I should just put my name here, right?
Q2. 6 asks 'County and state where principal business is located'. I incorporated in Delaware via an incorporation agency, so I should just put county and state where the incorporation agency is located?
Q3. 10 asks 'Date business started or acquired (month, day, year)'. Should I just put the date on which the company was incorporated, i.e., the date on which the application was approved?
Q4. 11 asks 'Closing month of accounting year'. Isn't this December naturally?
Q5. 13 asks 'Highest number of employees expected in the next twelve months', but Note says 'If the applicant does not expect to have any employees during the period, enter "-0-"'. Since I am an employee of the company, shouldn't I put '1' here? Also should I enter the number in 'Household' or 'Other'?
