Preventing Father from Getting Custody or Visitation in Georgia

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Georgia

I have an almost 6 year old son whos biological father has not been in the picture for the last 5 1/2 years. My son does not even remember him. I am now married to the man he calls "daddy." My child knows that he has a different daddy but does not ask about him. I have a court order for child support which he pays when he wants to and has been in jail for child support. Last time we were at court for child support, the bio dad told me he wants to see my son. That can not happen. He is a drug dealer and user. I found pictures of him on myspace holding guns and throwing up gang signs. He is not someone I want around my son. How can I prevent him from seeing him? Do I have full custody of my son? (We were never married) If so, how can I get custody papers? If not what should I be doing to keep bio dad away? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

If you are getting CS at some point you were awarded custody. If a court has not awarded him any visitation, then he has none. You can refuse and then he can take you to court. You can file for a tremination of parental rights and then your husband can adopt. That is probably your best route.
