Default Power of Attorney Gave Everything Away

My question involves real estate located in the State of: Ohio

Hi, we got "stitched up" our aunty was very nice to us...we gave her power of attorney, now she has signed away our inheritance to her friend for free.

Is it too late to do anything now?

    thanks

well, I have no idea what "stitched up" is but yes, you do have recourse. Hire an attorney (I know it's cliche` but that is what you need)
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.

I'm with you on this one jk...I have not a single clue as to what "stitched up" is or why you gave her POA.

It's mum writing this. Three children were awarded Letters of Administration on thier fathers estate. The one aunty got power of attorney from the eldest son and has signed the property in the estate over to her friend.

Is this legal. Surely it would need all three signatures?

I have got another lawyer, which is why we are in this mess. This is all out of USA and in another country and for some reason the lawyers take our money and run...or just never reply, or not really bother with anything but getting paid!

    OK...we have a lawyer.

Seems everything will be OK now.

We are revoking the power of attorney.

Just will cost extra money and we will have to send emails to banks and whatever she may have tried to do, to tell them she is no longer our representative.

Thanks for replying..I was tearing my hair out with worry!
