Default Can a Felony Be Expunged in South Carolina

My question involves criminal records for the state of: South Carolina

Can a felony be expunged in the state of S.C.? The solitors office said they could not expunge my felony. I could get a pardon maybe if they saw fit to give me one. Can a lawyer help in getting an expungement in S.C.?

    Thanks!!
