    Default Mother's Visitation During Guardianship

My question involves guardianship in the State of: Michigan

I obtained full-legal guardianship of a non-relative minor child this past August. The said Mother, left to run with a carnival, and I went to court to make things legal, as I have had her before. I was granted custody, and the judge told me, and wrote down "visitation is to be as agreed upon between parties." Mother is due back in state in 2 weeks, and has rarley even called throughout this time. I do not know what I should or could do about visitation. I don't want to keep her away from her mother, but want to protect her. Basically this is my question: Can I keep mother away, or on very limited visitation schedule if I want.... and Would this be in my best interests if I want to keep child permanantly.
Mother has already lost 2 previous children in same scenerio before said child was born. I just don't know what other families who are in this situation do for visitation, and don't know what is best.

ALSO, There is nothing in the order at all that says what she has to do to get her back. It says a full guardianship, with no experation date, does this mean that he Mother can't have her back, ever?

Do you think the mother will agree to that?

You mean, ignoring the court's order with regard to visitation because you hope to avoid reunification between parent and child? Not if the court figures out what you're doing.

No. It means that she'll have to go back to court to either ask the court to terminate the guardianship and restore her rights, or to petition for a more specific order describing the steps she needs to take.

That is absoulutley not what I am interested in doing. I would want more than anything for reunification to happen. I should have been more clear. This mother has run off on 2 previous children. I do not want that to affect the 3rd child,as deeply, so I am wanting to know where my rights stand, so I know what to do when the time (may) come. I just want to be informed that is all. You shouldn't jump to conclusions. I guess it is this way...if I knew for sure where we would be in 2 years time, I would know how to act better...however I am not able to see into the future, only guess, and prepare. This child has had a ruff life, I am not the first person she has been left with, so I just want to protect her.
