Default Pay to Delete Letter
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Georgia

So I have some negatives on my credit report that I'm willing to pay in full for a deletion. I'm hesitant to do so because I don't know if I'm heading towards the right direction about this. Do you guys recommend me to proceed or is there a better alternative in doing this.

These are the companies that I'm try
United Recovery Service
NCO FIN/27
RJM ACQ LLC

If you pay them in full they will show PAID and NOT deleted. Your FICO scores will NOT increase if you pay them off.

The credit bureaus will NOT remove accurate information from your reports.

The only way I can see you doing this is if you contact the collection agency before you pay them anything.

Get a letter from them saying that they will DELETE the items off of your credit report if you pay them in full BEFORE you send them a dime.

I hope this works for you. Good luck

What are the chances of them removing it? It seems like it's very slim but why is it that I see so many successful stories with similar instances as mine. Am I missing something here??

Your chances are 1% to 2% for them to remove it. However, your chances are NOT zero. You never know unless you try.

Did you try to request validation from them first?

No I did not. Whats the point if it's accurate? It's there a way to go around it or something?
