Child Support in Arrears - What Can I Do?

My question involves child support in the State of: Nevada / FL

This might seem like a novel or sci-fi story but TRUE and need anyone out there who might have a idea or ANYTHING at all. Im gonna try to make it easy to explain. but its like life nothing is easy. Iwas was married till 1989 since then been divorced. My ex-wife has filed for CHILD SUPPORT. I have been paying $600.00 a month since then for 1 girl. I do love my daughter and have paid all the way thru the years. My daughter is NOW 22 yrs old. LIve in Ca. but travels and works over seas for NATO. Im very proud of what she has done.Yes i do owe 20,000 in the rears. Yes it does sound like a lot but 600. 00 month I have paid for almost 18yrs. There where periods of time where my salary LIKE NOW wasn't what it was. My Ex-wife now and did make in the high 6 figures which as most divorced men know means nothing to a family court. My child support case has been offically CLOSE since she has been 18yrs. old. OK -- here it is. The case was opened in Las Vegas and when i moved to FL was moved there. As of the last 2 years FL has come to FREEZE my checkin account, lock up every dollar from my direct depoist for 4 weeks with NOT 1.00. They are trying to have my driver lisense suspended. I have been pleading with deptments for weeks and most men knows where that goes. OK i will stop whinning. Here what i need. A paralegal suggested a court case called Stevenson where the Ex-Wife addonded the husband. My lawary suggested that I negioate with the Ex-wife or pay 100.00 a pay check for the next 10 years. negioating with the Ex-Eife is 100% out of the question I haven't talked to my Ex for 6 years and I guess my daughter want not to talk to me also as of the last 5 ot 6 years. i raised my daughter for 15 years because the Ex-Wif was making the BIG salary. If not like I don't want to do this but i was put in jail 3 times because of missing 3 payments 4 paymnent but thwere were people in court who have missed 3 years of payments and the judge told them to get a job and they have said they had a Basketball game . the Judge said well tomorrow then. Anyone who can tell me anything that will help me with THE REARS. everyont has told me yes and no there is things you can ands cant do. THERE has to be something. There has to be a solution somewhere. Why do Lawyers have the answer for CASH but the everyday SPERM producer has to get it in the REAR (get it) Again.

If anybody has a little bit of insight into the current situations in this country After seperation men loose 91% custodody of the childern-they never get custody in fact they get "access or visitation right to thier children" they loose 68% of all assets. Banks won't give them money-woman get custody no questions-the house no questions-pension no question ect. Well if this Government doesn't reform this countrys legislations, Australian people will loose all faith and resent it. Five men suicide every day because they have been robbed emotionally-financially. My advice to those men still with us and suffering stay strong "GET SUPPORT" please. We are gaining in numbers in this country and we are getting stronger.

I read your post twice and am still trying to make sense of what you are asking.

You said that your Xwife was earning over $100K at the time of your divorce in 1989 - and you were ordered to pay $600 her a month in CS.
But then you also said that you raised your daughter for 15 years.

Did you ever try to have the CS order modified during those 15 years so your Xwife would be paying you?
