    Default The Study

    (A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is

    700,000.

    (B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are

    120,000.

(Calculation) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171

Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health Human Services.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Now think about this:

    Guns:

    (A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is

    80,000,000.

    (Yes, that's 80 million..)

    (B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.

(Calculation) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188

    Statistics courtesy of FBI

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT,

ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.

We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Out of concern for the public at large, I withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention!

You can educate dumb, but you can't fix stupid!

If guns kill people, then I blame my pen/pencil/keyboard for misspelled words!

    Why am I not surprised??

I've owned many guns, rifles, shotguns, and handguns. Never any blood on any of them {dangit}.

When I had a couple heart attacks a few years back, the dr prescribed Vioxx. I asked her about the link between that and heart attacks. She said she never heard of such !!

The she prescribed another drug attributed to suicide and depression. I brought this to her attention. Again, she never heard of such. Nice doc, huh?

I'll bet you see Thursday. the stats on loosing someone during a surgical procedure is actually quite low. The stats regarding post op infection however are much more devistating. So we'll see ya Thursday with your antibiotics.

(you don't get off that easy, this is where karma takes over to allow for a slow painfull death)

    ...very sorry, I couldn't resist
