Default H1 Approval Notice Lost By Employer

    Hi,

I have accepted a full time offer after working as a contractor for 1 year...my H1 transfer was filed and the attorney mailed the approved notice to the Employer, my employer lost the package sent to him.
can anyone please advice what to do next and how long will it take to get duplicate if possible to get one?

Also the receipt number status still shows as pending on USCIS website.....I have no idea why is it so?

    Thanks in advance

You're talking about a lost I-797? Then have your employer file form I-824 for a replacement. There's a $340 fee.
