    Default Terminating Guardianship in California

    My question involves guardianship in the State of: California

    I have legal guardianship of my 16 year old niece, but she has decided to go back to her mom's. Her mother does not want to petition for guardianship because she has a history with child protective services. Her father does not want to be involved, and I just want to wash my hands of the situation. Any advice on how to terminate the legal guardianship.
