My question involves a roommate in the State of: minnesota
my roommate has been late 3 times in paying his rent and he is a co-tenent; however, he refuses take responsibility for making improvements on keeping up with his rent. so far we have some bad credit on our rental history because of his decision to not share that he doesn't have the money and that he'd rather take these lates fees? can i kick him out based on those grounds that he is not financially keeping up with his side of the lease??
i'm NOW willing to let everything else go because I just want him out-he's becoming a financial burdon to not only his credit but mine.
ALSO, i do have evidence to back up my claims that rent has been late and he's not willing to help...i ALSO wanted to state that i want to get a roommate to replace him on the lease...is that possible???
i do realise i've made a horrible choice in a roommate:/
