Stopping Threats and Defamation

History:My son is a musician, he formed a side project. He and one of the bandmembers (after splitting with their former mates)moved in together. My son and my family immediately began receiving threats, being stalked and harrassed by telephone and email as well as Respondent driving by my son's place of employment. We obtained a Temp. Restraining Order. Respondent violated this order twice (police were called, he was spoken to.) Our court date is in Jan. 2006 for permanent restraing order.
Present: We began to receive emails of a racial and vulgar nature soon after the police spoke with Respondent the last time. Seems he has taken out ads in a personal classifieds soliciting sex and services, using my son's email, my business email and fiance's email as the return address. Respondent has also had numerous friends/associates of his call or write to my business email sprouting racial hatred, threats, etc. I am receiving pictures that are of pornographic nature. My grandchild (who is also an artist) sometimes opens business email to see if she has any requests for her sample cd. She has seen two pictures. I no longer let her open the mail. There must be action I can take...does anyone agree....

It seems like it is past time for the police to commence a prosecution for stalking.
