    quick question.

a while back someone i know was sentenced and was given time to pay off their debt and it would relate to how long they were sentenced for.

is there anyway i can find this information out, as i would like to find out how long the person was sentenced for after the first original court proceedins.

    thank you

If you're in Scotland, you'll need to address your queries to a site specializing in Scottish law.

You can contact the clerk of court's office in the jurisdiction where he/she was sentenced. If the Clerk won't give you the information on the phone, you can physically go and look at the case file (that is, is the defendant is not a juvenile). These items are public record, except under very limited circumstances.
