My question involves education law in the State of:Florida

I am wanting to become a Pre-K teacher in Florida. I was actually informally offered a job by the head of the program for our county with the public school system. I have a record however and I'm afraid to apply for the for fear of not getting the job and losing the respect of the school. My charge was FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT Card this was in 2005. I didn't go to jail, the judgment was adjudication withheld, I was referred to a Pretrial Intervention Program and completed it along with 1 year probation, charges were to be dropped. I haven't been in trouble since, a speeding ticket or two but not in the past three to four years. This charge was a lapse in judgment on my part , I have and had never been in trouble before this nor after. I don't know if I have a shot at getting the position or not. I don't know if you are suppose to have a completely clear record, I would hope so, but in my case, kind of not. And how do I find out if the charges were dropped? Thank you so much!
