Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Florida

Hey, My names Brian and I live in Florida. I got this ticket about 2 weeks ago, This cop pulled me over out of no where saying I was speeding, and that he wont give me a speeding ticket but only a 'Not wearing seatbelt' AND 'Failure to obey traffic control device'. The seatbelt ticket costs $90 and the Failure to obey traffic control device is $205. What exactly did I do to obtain a 'Failure to obey traffic control device' and is there anyway I can lower the prices on these tickets, Thank you

You didn't tell us any facts that would allow us to figure out how you got a "Failure to obey traffic control device" ticket, so we can't answer that.

You can try to contest the tickets, and go to court and try to talk to a prosecutor about a deal where one or more of the tickets are dismissed or the fine is reduced, to try to avoid paying the full fines.
