My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: IL
I was driving on a state Road and I stopped on a red light. When the Green light was given for Left turn, I moved ahead (not a left turn I drove straight).
A Sherrif was standing there and he immediately stopped me and gave me a ticket. The ticket says I have to pay $75 penalty by mail/web.
I am fine with that.
The Sherrif confiscated my drivers licence and said he'll return it by mail but I am not sure when I'll get that back. I came to know from my co-workers that IL laws says that if any one caught by police for a minor traffic violation, they will be supervised by Court for 90 days and if no violation found again in 90 days then no report will be made to the Driving Record.
Is that some thing means I'll get my license back after 90 days?
