My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Kansas
I own a small LLC and business is not doing well, my personal guarantee is up in 3 months as long as i complied with all the terms in the lease i.e opening hours paying on time etc which i did so far, but i still have many years remaining on my lease.
What are my solutions?
should I talk to the lanlord and tell him that i will be closing in 3 months?
Should i just closed now and liquidate the asset of the business right now and pay for the next 3 months?
or should I liquidate the business within the next 3 months with the minimun opening hours to complied to the lease?
what is going to happen after three months if the llc is liquidated can the landlord sued me personally for the remaining of the rent?
I tried to find someone to take over my business or my lease with out chance.
I know this is a lot of questions, I am meeting with an attorney next week, but i would like to find out my options before.
