How Can I Look Up Filing Date for Ticket in Washington

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Washington, Upper Kittitas County


A few questions,,,I received a speeding ticket today for 40+ in a 25 from WSP( really not that bad, going into a 45 mph zone from a 25 on a rural road with no houses or anything around) from what I understand they have 5 days to file or it isn't legit? 1. How can I loookup this information before I send the ticket in? 2. also I was in my bosses truck on my way to work and nothing is filled out on the part of the ticket where it says "owner/company if other than the driver" 3. I've also heard of the challenging of the SMD(which the box is checked) that you can obtain records of the particular device used and get the service records for it and if it falls under the "maintenance" category it could be thrown out? If any of these reasons are grounds for dismissal, how do I go about bringing it up before sending my ticket,,, contested hearing?,,, or could I do a contested hearing by mail with this information? Or should I just let a lawyer handle it?

Check with the court where the ticket was filed to see the filing date.
