My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: California
i was hurt back in 2005 and i was told my doctor the injury would take time to heel, it now been 2 1/2 year and my shoulder and hip still hurts, i went to a lawyer and he help me get a Dr and the Dr said i need surgery on my shoulder and,the inc company has payed all my Dr bills and surgery but they told me they do not have to give me any workman comp money and i was told to file SSI i was working for different company but the same type of job, my shoulder always herded i thought it would get better because that what the DR i had back in 2005 told me. but it never got better i have been out of work for 7 month and no money .... will my question is can i get payed from workman comp for a shoulder and hip that never got better i read on the workers comp site i have 5 year but they told me i have 2 years is this true ? thank any information will help

They're mostly injured workers navigating the system themselves over there, and they know practically everything when it comes to WC. Experience is a hard teacher.
