Question Can You Legally Move Out at 17?
My friend is 17 and she recently got in a hugh argument with her mom. These arguments have been going on a while and her mom truely doesn't care where she lives, but, the thing is, she gets child support from my friends dad, nearly $400 a month, and if my friend moves out, she cannot recieve it anymore. I'm not looking for an emancipation answer because that process takes along time and by the time the whole process is over, she'll already be 18.

Help me? (btw, I live in North Carolina.)

OR if she has BOTH parents permission. Chances are when mom finds out the bank account will be 400 short a month, she will decline.
