    Default custody/gaurdianship

I am a highschool sophomore with a 3.0 gpa and I will be 16 in 4 months. I was wondering if it is possible for a close friend of mine who is like my older brother to get gaurdianship over me. My mother likes him and considers him my bro pretty much too and he considers me his younger sister. He will be 18 in two months, he has a good job and is getting a place of his own. I have had difficulties with my dad since I was very young. We fight A LOT and have been a little physical in the past. He is fine with my brothers but not with me. I want to get away from him and finish highschool away from him. So, my question is, would it be possible for my "brother"/friend to get custody/gaurdianship of me with my mothers permission even if my dad isn't for it?

    Default Guardianship

If your parents assign him a guardianship once he's 18, that shouldn't be a problem. But it is unlikely that he would be considered a suitable guardian by a court, and your mother can't grant him guardianship over your father's objection.
