Post Quit Claim Deed and Property Division

My question involves divorce in the State of: Kentucky
My husband and myself as a couple signed over a quit claim deed to myself back in 2001. I had just given up my inheritance from my mother and grandmother to my sister. My husband said that I would then always have a house. It was a gift. He signed no right of joint tenancy.
My husband and I are now in a divorce and I would like to know if the house is fully mine? There is no mortgage on the house. The divorce is in Kentucky but the house is in New Mexico.

If it is the marital home, he may have an equitable claim. He will have to file in NM, the Kentucky court does not have jurisdiction.
