    Default Moving Back Home

I'm not 100% sure on where this should be put so i figured i would start here.

I'm 16 years old and my parents moved us from Texas to Illinoisright after school got out. I really want to go home and i asked if i could live with a friend and they said no. ive asked if i could drop out and get my GED and they said no. So i thought i would find a way to get back to Texas on my own. I'm not sure i can apply for Emancipation since i have never been left alone for longer than a few hours.

I would really apprecitate it if anyone had information pertaining to this. I dont want to have to run away and drop out of school because i need a high school degree to get into Parsons: The New School for Design.

So please help, i dont think they would let me become Emancipated and then move states but if they will then i'm going to try very hard to acheive it.

    Thx

Don't be ridiculous. You don't have to do any such thing.

Running away and dropping out of school is stupid, and will doom you to spending your life working jobs that require "flair" and asking "Do you want fries with that?". So don't.

You're not a candidate for emancipation. You're going to have to get over wanting to go back to Texas and stick it out until you're 18.
