Default My Son Wrongly Accused of Being a Threat
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Washington
...this is our first time dealing with the law and my son has been suspended from school and has been arrested for being part of the loud kids on the bus, laughing and yelling and then hollering the word "bomb" on the school bus...
after all is said and done, and now in fear and tears, my son states that after the bus driver tells them to stop because she needs to know if it is the real deal or not, my son states he stopped but the others didn't...
before they got off the bus, the bus driver tells the security guard what happened on the way to school, the security guard says to the whole bus of student "...this is serious"... And then they were all dismissed to class... then at the end of the day as they all wait to get back on the bus, my son and another kid (not other kidSs) gets pulled out of the line and brought into office... the security then sweeps the bus and bomb squad was called as well as the school district... well to get to my point... after the officer read my son his rights and after all is said and done... i am just realizing that this ALL happened at the end of the school day... and that i was called to come in @3pm and if this ALL happened in the morning on their way to school... then why was the assistant principal informed at the end of the school day and called in rash measures before the facts were evaluated...
was my son wrongly accussed of being charged for false bomb threat or not? i need to know... we are soOo scared and my son is just realizing that he commited a major crime and can serve up to 10 years... we know how serious this is... and we know the consequences... but to me i don't see a threat... i see that the school created it to be a threat by the end of the day... if it was a threat to begin with... then why didn't the bus driver do something about it instead of saying "...i need to know if it is the real deal or not..."... if the security guard says "...it is serious" then why was he instructed to sweep the bus after school got out but not the second he was informed by the bus driver...
i'm so confused, hurt, overwhelmed of emotions right now that i just need to know how does this work... i've goggled false arrests/false bomb threats and every results that i found resulted to juvenile detention centers up to 15 years/$15,000... please, was my son wrongly accused of being charged for false bomb threat or not??? ~blueMOM

He said the word bomb didn't he? Then I would say no, he's not being wrongfully accused, he's being charged.

You need to start selling possessions to get him the best criminal defense attorney possible.
