My question involves paternity law for the State of: oregon my question is this i have a daughter shes almost three she has my last name im on the birth certificate the mother sighned the birth certificate now shes claiming im not the father there is a guy claimming to be the father we have lived toghther for 3 years and have seperated were not married butt i gave my daughter my last name because iwas going to do the right thing and marry her im scared that i will not have any rights to see my daughter shes my life and the mother is evil she hit me with a restraining order for no reason just to try to keep me a way with never any police incidents what rights do i have please answer
Right now, your legally this childs father. You need to make sure that you keep up with your CS obligations and worry about what happens when and if it happens.
BTW, on what grounds did a judge issue a restraining order for no reason? Did you go to court and fight it?
i did she had some girl that i had to have removed by the police from my other house come in and lie in court the judge is starting to see how the lies are i have been granted visitation from the judge butt she hasnt showed up for her drop offs i havent seen my daughter in 8 weeks but good news i have a show cause hearing sept 8 does voluntary established paternity work in this case and the fact my daughter has my last name and has lived with me two years after birth i have been really stressed are daughter weighed 1 pound 7 ounces 2 months early my miracle girl
