Copyright Infringement Law

Hi, I am from IL and would appreciate any information you could provide. I have been notified that I am going to be sued for copyright infringement. I recently joined a website and downloaded about eight of their video clips and posted them on rapidshare. Someone reported the content being shared and the website notified me about being sued. I don't know much about the law, but any information that could be shared would be greatly appreciated at this time.

Contact an attorney right away! The copyright holders are going after those who infringe their copyrighted material and the fines/penalties can be extremely costly.
