Cannot sell property because of judgement

There is a nonsense, but sizable judgement from another state against me that is dated 1997. The court was in a state where the statute of limitations is 7 years. The judgement was sent to this state as a foriegn judgement. The SOL is 10 years here. Which SOL is in effect?

What you need to check is whether there is a statute of limitations for the enforcement of a lien against your property, which I would assume is the principal holdup in the sale of the property.

Clerk or court? There is not a lein on the real estate, just an 8 year old judgement against me personally.

If there is no lien against the property, why can't you sell the property?

Reason- cannot get clear title because of the judgement. The
property was put into my name after the judgement had been in effect for several years.

You're doing a lousy job of explaining yourself. Obviously there is something in the title history which is stopping you from being able to sell the property. If you are unable to articulate what that is, I suggest you contact a real property lawyer, have the title work pulled, and see what the lawyer can make of things.
