Default Workers' Compensation and "Pain and Suffering"
Workers' compensation does not normally provide for "pain and suffering" in the traditional sense. There is a public policy trade-off between certainty of recovery (i.e., worker's compensation covers most work-related injuries regardless of fault) and the amount you can recover.
