    Default Friend to friend Loan

Last year (4/04) I loaned 4k to a friend to buy a motorcylce. He said we were doing side jobs and that i would have the money back in no time. yeah right the SOB declared bankruptcy in dec 04. He has since sold the bike with out paying me a dime. Is my money long gone or can I get it back through a legal process?

    Default Borrowed Motorcycle

If you didn't title the motorcycle over to him, it's still yours.

If you weren't named as a creditor in the bankruptcy proceeding, the bankruptcy is irrelevant to your situation.

He held the title to the bike and as far as I know I was not named as a creditor.

Thanks for the help and happy holidays
