My husband was offered a 6 month test engineer contractor job

at 40 hr with W2

what does this mean

And how would i figure out taxes.

Also does this mean contractor cant claim unemployment?

I believe this means he is considered an employee. (not self-employed)

While he is working he, of course, cannot claim unemployment.
